Beginning Tuesday, May 8, 2018
We will be meeting once a month to explore our own work as well as support others in the workshop.
As the days get longer we’ll meet around the pool, gather in the garden, or stretch out on the lawn, allowing the warmth of summer to calm and inspire.
Our workshop foruces on craft. By using storytelling skills, we’ll explore various ways to turn stories into compelling reading, incorporating dialogue, description, setting and theme. The writing can be in the genre of fiction, flash fiction, nonfiction, memoir, or prose.

For those writing memoir, participants will write in class to a series of prompts designed to trigger meaningful anecdotes. For fiction writers the in class writing prompts will explore theme, characters, conflict and resolution.
